Videos

The Videos tab allows you to set the default global behavior for any video layers (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted) that you add to your slides. These settings can often be overridden on a per-layer basis.

Automatically play videos

When enabled, any video layer will begin playing automatically as soon as its slide becomes active. If disabled, the user must manually click the play button.

Pause slideshow

Choose how the main slideshow timer should behave when a video is playing:

• While playing: The slideshow will pause for the duration of the video and automatically resume once the video finishes.
• Permanently: The slideshow will stop completely when a video starts playing and will not resume until the user manually restarts it.
• No action: The slideshow will continue to play in the background, potentially advancing to the next slide before the video has finished.

YouTube preview

Select the quality for the automatically fetched preview thumbnail for YouTube videos. If you see a gray or missing thumbnail for a video, try choosing a lower quality, as not all videos have an HD preview available.
