The Videos tab allows you to set the default global behavior for any video layers (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted) that you add to your slides. These settings can often be overridden on a per-layer basis.

Video Settings
- Automatically play videos
- When enabled, any video layer will begin playing automatically as soon as its slide becomes active. If disabled, the user must manually click the play button.
- Pause slideshow
-
Choose how the main slideshow timer should behave when a video is playing:
- While playing: The slideshow will pause for the duration of the video and automatically resume once the video finishes.
- Permanently: The slideshow will stop completely when a video starts playing and will not resume until the user manually restarts it.
- No action: The slideshow will continue to play in the background, potentially advancing to the next slide before the video has finished.
- YouTube preview
-
Select the quality for the automatically fetched preview thumbnail for YouTube videos. If you see a gray or missing thumbnail for a video, try choosing a lower quality, as not all videos have an HD preview available.
- Maximum Quality
