If you prefer the classic protection method, you can use Version 2 (Invisible). This version works in the background but will show a puzzle (image challenge) if a visitor looks suspicious.
1. Log in or Create a Google Account
Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console.
You will be asked to sign in. If you do not have a Google account (Gmail), you must click Create account to make one for free. You cannot use reCAPTCHA without a Google account.
2. Fill in the "Register a new site" form
Complete the form fields as follows (match the screenshot below):

- Label: Enter a name for your shop (e.g., "My PrestaShop Store").
- reCAPTCHA type:
- First, select the radio button: Challenge (v2).
- Two new options will appear. Select: Invisible reCAPTCHA badge.
Note: Do NOT select the "I'm not a robot Checkbox". This module is designed for invisible protection and will not work with the checkbox.
- Domains: Add your website domain (e.g.,
myshop.com) and press Enter.
Note: Do not include "http://" or "https://". - If you haven't used Google Cloud before:
- Project Name: Google will automatically create a project name for you (e.g., "My Project 1234"). You do not need to change this.
- Terms of Service: Check the box that says "I agree to the Google Cloud Terms of Service..."
3. Get Your Keys
Click the blue SUBMIT button.
On the next page, you will see your Site Key and Secret Key.
4. Copy Your Keys
On this screen, Google displays the API keys that connect your shop to the security service.
- Click COPY SITE KEY to copy the first code.
- Click COPY SECRET KEY to copy the second code.
