The Mobile tab contains all the settings for optimizing your slider's performance and controlling its visibility on different devices like tablets and smartphones.

Note: Some settings in this section are considered "Advanced" and are hidden by default to keep the interface clean for most users. You can reveal these options at any time by enabling the Show Advanced Settings toggle in the top-right corner of the editor. Throughout this documentation, these advanced parameters are marked with a flag icon .

Performance & Behavior

Use slide effect when swiping
When enabled, the slider will use a simple "sliding" transition for swipe gestures on touch devices, ignoring any more complex 2D/3D transitions you may have set. This provides a more natural, app-like feel for mobile users.
Optimize for mobile
Enable this option to automatically apply performance optimizations on mobile devices. This can include reducing the number of tiles in complex slide transitions or simplifying performance-heavy effects to ensure a smoother experience on less powerful devices.

Device Visibility

You can control exactly which devices the slider will appear on. There are two methods for controlling visibility:

Control display by user agent

This method attempts to identify the device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile) based on the visitor's browser information.

Disable on mobile
Completely hides the slider from visitors on mobile devices.
Disable on tablet
Completely hides the slider from visitors on tablet devices.
Disable on desktop
Completely hides the slider from visitors on desktop computers.

Control display by device width

This is a more precise method that hides the slider based on the width of the visitor's browser window (viewport).

Hide under
Enter a pixel value to hide the slider on any screen that is narrower than this width. For example, entering 768 would hide the slider on most mobile phones.
Hide over
Enter a pixel value to hide the slider on any screen that is wider than this width. For example, entering 1024 would hide the slider on most desktop computers, leaving it visible only on tablets and phones.
Best Practice: For the best user experience, it is highly recommended to create separate sliders for desktop and mobile devices. A landscape-oriented slider designed for desktop will often not look good on a portrait-oriented mobile screen. By creating a dedicated mobile slider and using these visibility settings to show it only on smaller screens (and hide the desktop version), you can ensure your layers and text are always perfectly aligned and readable for every visitor.
