Theme Builder

Creative Elements' Theme Builder is a powerful feature that gives you full design control over your entire PrestaShop theme. It allows you to visually create and customize core theme components—such as your header, footer, product pages, and category pages—by replacing your theme's default template files (.tpl) with designs you build in the Live Editor.

The Core Workflow

Working with the Theme Builder follows a simple, three-step process for every part of your site you want to customize:

1. Create a Template: In the Templates List, you create a new template and define its type (e.g., Header, Product Page).
2. Design in the Editor: You design the template visually using the drag-and-drop Live Editor.
3. Assign the Template: In the Theme Settings, you assign your new design to a specific area of your site to make it live.

The Templates List

The Templates List is where you create, view, and manage all your individual theme templates. From here, you can add new templates, edit existing ones in the Live Editor, or delete them.

The Theme Settings

After you have designed a template, you must assign it in the Theme Settings to make it appear on your live site. This section acts as a control panel, allowing you to select which template is active for each part of your theme (e.g., which design to use for the Header, which for the Product Page, etc.).
