Listing Page - Creative Elements

The Listing Page Builder is a versatile page builder designed to be used across all listing pages, including Category pages, Brand pages, Search results, Product drops, New products, and Best sellers. It's helpful because there's no need to create different pages for each listing type. As a foundational template, any modifications made to it will reflect across all listing pages, eliminating the need for individual adjustments.

With this template, three building techniques are available:

Separate Building: Each listing type, such as Categories, Brands, Search Page, Price Drops, New Products, and Best Sellers, is individually constructed.
Single Listing Page: A single listing page template is chosen to represent all listing types uniformly.
Mixed Approach: This method involves creating a universal listing template where content is displayed across all product listing types. This serves as the core template for each of them. Then, using the listing page builders (Category, Brand and Search Page), dedicated pages can be created, and the Listing Template widget can be used to insert this core, allowing for further customization based on the specific page. This approach combines the flexibility of separate building with the uniformity of a single listing page, offering easy modifications to the listing template when necessary.

When designing a Listing page template using Creative Elements, you have a variety of elements at your disposal. Consider incorporating the following Listing widgets to build the Listing page:

Breadcrumb: Displays the navigation path to help users track their location within the listing page.
Listing Name: Presents the name or title of the listings showcased on the page.
Category Tree: Shows the hierarchical structure of categories for easier navigation.
Listing Image: Show the main image of the listing page.
Filters: Provides options for users to refine their search results based on specific criteria.
Active Filters: Displays the currently applied filters, aiding users in managing their search selections.
Listing Description: Offers detailed descriptions or summaries of the listing page.
Sorting: Allows users to arrange the listings based on different criteria, such as price, popularity, or relevance.
Products: Showcases the actual listings or products available on the page.
Pagination: Enables users to navigate through multiple pages of listings if there are more results than can be displayed on a single page.
Listing Info: Presents additional information associated with the listed products, such as Total Items or Items Shown.
Listing Block: Allows the inclusion of custom blocks from the default theme to enhance the listing page's content.
Listing Template: Incorporates a pre-designed core template.

In addition to the Listing widgets specifically designed for listing page customizations, Creative Elements offers a wide range of widget options that can further enhance your Listing page template. You have the flexibility to use the Basic widgets, General widgets, Catalog widgets, Premium widgets and the Site widgets to enrich the design and functionality of your Listing page.

Creating a new Listing page template in Theme Builder

From your PrestaShop admin, navigate to Creative Elements > Theme Builder.
Click on the Add new button in the top right corner.
Provide a title for easy identification (this will only be visible to you).
Select the Listing page template type from the dropdown list.
In the Status option, you can choose to enable or disable the template. Enabling it allows the content to be displayed in the Theme Settings. Disabling it prevents the template from being set on the frontend. However, you can use the Preview feature in the Live Editor to review it and you can also activate it later in the Templates List.
Remember to Save your changes to ensure they are applied.

Creating a new Listing page template

Now you can edit your template by clicking on Edit with Creative Elements.
After completing the editing process, make sure to set the template in the Theme Settings to the listing pages of your choice. You have the flexibility to apply this template to all or selected listing pages as per your preferences.
