Custom Icons

Creative Elements provides a comprehensive Icon Library and also allows you to upload your own custom icon sets. This gives you the flexibility to maintain perfect brand consistency and use unique, purpose-built icons for your PrestaShop store.

The Built-in Icon Library

By default, Creative Elements includes an extensive library with over 2000 free icons from Font Awesome 6, organized into several packages:

Creative Elements Default Icons

This collection includes icons specially designed for the basic functioning of your webshop.

FontAwesome 6 Regular

A set of clean, line-style icons suitable for a wide range of designs.

FontAwesome 6 Solid

A collection of bold, filled-in icons that are highly visible and great for calls-to-action.

FontAwesome 6 Brands

Includes the official logos for hundreds of popular brands and companies.

Uploading Your Own Custom Icon Set

You can expand the Icon Library by uploading your own icon sets created with services like Fontello or IcoMoon. These services bundle your selected SVG icons into a single web font package (a `.zip` file) that Creative Elements can use.

Step 1: Prepare Your Icon Set

1. Go to a web font generator service like Fontello.
2. Select the icons you want to include in your set, or upload your own custom SVG files.
3. Give your font a name.
4. Click the Download webfont button to download a .zip file containing your icon set. Do not unzip this file.

Step 2: Upload to Creative Elements

1. From your PrestaShop admin, navigate to Creative Elements > Fonts & Icons.
2. Click on the Custom Icons tab.
3. Click the Add New button.
4. Give your icon set a name (e.g., "My Icon Set").
5. Drag and drop your .zip file into the upload box, or click to browse for it.
6. The icons included in your set will be displayed in a list.
7. Click Save to finish.

Upload your .zip file and save the icon set.

How to Use Icons in the Editor

Icons can be used in any widget that includes an icon control, such as the Icon, Icon Box, or Button widgets.

1. Select a widget and go to its settings in the sidebar.
2. Click on the Icon Library button.
3. A popup will appear showing all available icons.
4. To access your custom icons, select the name of your uploaded icon set.
5. Select your desired icon and click Insert.

Switch to your custom icon set using the dropdown menu.
