The General Settings control the main editing and content management behavior of Creative Elements, including dashboard integration, frontend editing, revision history, and the use of default colors and fonts.

General Settings

Show Dashboard Widget
Enable or disable the Creative Elements widget on the PrestaShop Dashboard. The widget provides quick access to recently edited content, Creative Elements news and updates, and other useful module information.
Show Edit Icon on Frontend
Display an Edit with Creative Elements control on the storefront while a PrestaShop employee has an active Back Office session. The control provides quick access to the Live Editor for supported content directly from the frontend.
Limit Revisions
Set the maximum number of revisions kept for each content item. You can keep 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 revisions. The default limit is 10. Select Disable Revision History if you do not want Creative Elements to create revisions.
Clear Revisions
Delete stored revisions that exceed the currently configured Limit Revisions value. Revisions within the configured limit are retained.
Disable Default Colors
Disable the default colors applied by Creative Elements to elements that use its default global color values. Enable this option when you want other site styling, including styles configured through Theme Style, to control these colors instead.
Disable Default Fonts
Disable the default typography applied by Creative Elements to elements that use its default global typography values. Enable this option when you want other site styling, including styles configured through Theme Style, to control typography instead.
Note: To allow Theme Style to affect all relevant elements, enable both Disable Default Colors and Disable Default Fonts.
