The Language panel allows you to switch between languages and, in a PrestaShop Multistore environment, change the shop context directly within the Creative Elements Live Editor.

You can also insert Creative Elements content from another language into the language you are currently editing. This makes it easier to reuse an existing design when creating translated versions of your content.

How to Access the Language Panel

To open the Language panel, click the flag icon () in the Bottom Bar of the Live Editor.

Note: The Language control is available when the shop has multiple active languages or the PrestaShop Multistore feature is enabled. It is not available when editing Saved Creative Elements Templates. This does not apply to templates edited through the Theme Builder.

Understanding the Language Panel

The Language panel displays the available languages and, when applicable, a selector for changing the current Multistore context.

Shop Context: When PrestaShop Multistore is enabled and multiple shops are available, use the context selector to work with all shops, a shop group, or an individual shop. Changing the context updates the languages and content available for the selected context.
Languages: The panel lists the active languages available for the current shop context. Click a language to reload the Live Editor and edit that language version of the current content.
Insert: When Creative Elements content already exists in another language for the current shop, an Insert button is available next to that language. Use it to insert the elements from that language into the version you are currently editing.

If you manage a single shop with multiple languages, simply select the language you want to edit from the list.

Working with Multiple Languages

Each language can have its own Creative Elements content. You can switch between language versions from the Language panel and edit them independently.

When creating a translated version, you can reuse Creative Elements content that already exists in another language instead of rebuilding the same design manually.

How to Create a Translated Version

Open the content in your primary language.
Complete the design and save your changes.
Open the Language panel and select the language you want to edit.
The Live Editor reloads in the selected language context.
Open the Language panel again.
Locate the language containing the Creative Elements content you want to reuse.
Click Insert next to that language.

Inserting content from another language

Edit text-based widgets, such as Headings, Text Editors, and Buttons, and replace their content with the appropriate translations.
Review links, images containing text, and any other content that may need to differ between languages.
Save the translated version.

Note: Insert copies the existing Creative Elements content from another language; it does not translate the content automatically. Review the inserted elements and replace any language-specific content with the appropriate translation.

How Insert Works

The Insert button is displayed only when Creative Elements content already exists for another language in the currently selected shop.

Inserting content adds the elements from the selected language to the document you are currently editing. If the current language already contains elements, the inserted content is added to the existing content rather than replacing it.

Important: Before using Insert, check the current Canvas to avoid unintentionally duplicating content that is already present.

Working with Multistore

If PrestaShop Multistore is enabled and multiple shops are available, the Language panel also includes a selector for changing the current shop context.

Depending on your Multistore configuration, you can work in the context of all shops, a shop group, or an individual shop.

How to Switch Shop Context

Open the Language panel using the flag icon () in the Bottom Bar.
Open the Shop Context selector.
Select all shops, a shop group, or an individual shop as required.
Select the language you want to edit.

Switching the Multistore context

Important: When you work in an All shops or shop group context, your modifications can affect all shops or all shops in the active group. Select an individual shop when you want to make changes only for that shop.

Shop and Language Context

In a multilingual Multistore setup, the shop context and language work together to determine which version of the content you are editing.

For example, imagine that you manage two shops:

Shop A: English and French
Shop B: English and German

When working in Shop A, the Language panel displays the languages available for that shop. After switching to Shop B, the available language list is updated according to the selected shop context.

Always check the current shop context and language before editing, especially when similar content exists across multiple shops.

Tips for Multilingual and Multistore Editing

Save Before Switching: Save your changes before switching to another language or shop context.
Complete the Original Design First: When possible, finish the layout in your primary language before inserting it into other language versions. This reduces duplicated design work.
Check Existing Content Before Inserting: Insert adds elements from another language to the current document. Check the Canvas first to avoid creating duplicate content.
Check Text Length in Every Language: Translations may be longer or shorter than the original text. Review headings, buttons, navigation elements, and other areas where text length can affect the layout.
Review Language-Specific Content: In addition to translating text, check links, images containing text, and other content that may need to change for a particular language.
Check the Shop Context: In Multistore, confirm whether you are editing an individual shop, a shop group, or all shops before making changes.
