The Header is the top section of your website, containing key elements such as the navigation menu, logo, search bar, login, cart, and announcement bar. It provides essential site navigation and branding.

When designing a Header template using Creative Elements, you have a variety of elements at your disposal. Consider incorporating the following Site widgets to build the Header:

Shop Logo: Upload your brand logo to the Header.
Shop Title: Display the name or tagline of your shop for instant recognition.
Nav Menu: Include a structured navigation menu for better site navigation.
User Menu: Allow users to log in to their accounts directly from the Header.
Shopping Cart: Allow users to view and manage their cart directly from the Header.
AJAX Search: Add a search bar with real-time results to enhance product discovery.
Language Selector: Provide a language selector for users to choose their preferred language.
Currency Selector: Provide options for users to switch between different currencies.

In addition to the Site widgets specifically designed for Header customization, Creative Elements offers a wide range of widget options that can further enhance your Header template. You have the flexibility to use the Basic widgets, General widgets, Catalog widgets, and Premium widgets to enrich the design and functionality of your Header.

Creating a new Header template in Theme Builder

From your PrestaShop admin, navigate to Creative Elements > Theme Builder.
Click on the Add new button in the top right corner.
Provide a title for easy identification (this will only be visible to you).
Select the Header template type from the dropdown list.
In the Status option, you can choose to enable or disable the template. Enabling it allows the content to be displayed in the Theme Settings. Disabling it prevents the template from being set on the frontend. However, you can use the Preview feature in the Live Editor to review it and you can also activate it later in the Templates List.
Remember to Save your changes to ensure they are applied.

Creating a new Header template

Now you can edit your template by clicking on Edit with Creative Elements.
After completing the editing process, make sure to set the template in the Theme Settings to ensure its display on the frontend of your website.
