Content Anywhere

Content Anywhere is a feature that allows you to create custom content blocks with the Live Editor and inject them into specific locations within your existing PrestaShop theme. It is the perfect solution for adding new sections or enhancing parts of your site—like theme hooks—without needing to use the Theme Builder to override an entire page template.

The Core Workflow

Using Content Anywhere follows a simple, two-step process:

  1. Create and Assign: In the Content Anywhere interface, you create a new content block, give it a title, and assign it to a specific location.
  2. Design the Content: You then use the drag-and-drop Live Editor to design the content for that block.

Once saved, your custom content will automatically appear in the location you assigned.

Available Content Locations

Content Anywhere can be used to customize the following areas of your store. Click on any type to learn more about its specific settings and use cases.

Hook Content
Inject custom-designed sections into any of your theme's predefined hook locations (e.g., `displayHome`).
CMS Page Content
Replace the standard text editor content of a specific CMS page with a fully designed layout.
Product Description
Enhance your product pages by replacing the default text-based description with a rich, visually designed layout.
Category Description
Replace the default description on category pages with a custom design, perfect for banners or promotional content.
Brand Description
Customize the description area on your brand (manufacturer) pages.
Supplier Description
Customize the description area on your supplier pages.
Blog Content
If you use a compatible blog module, you can replace the default blog post content with a custom layout.
