The Add New Section placeholder is the starting point for adding all content to your page. It is a dashed-line box that appears on any blank canvas or when you hover between existing sections, prompting you to begin building your layout.
The Add New Section placeholder is the gateway to creating new content.
This placeholder contains two distinct icons, each offering a different way to add content:
- Add New Section (the pink icon)
-
Clicking the plus icon allows you to create a new, empty section from scratch. A popup will immediately appear asking you to select your desired column structure (e.g., one column, two columns, etc.). Once you choose a structure, the new empty section will be added to the page, ready for you to drag widgets into its columns.

- Add Template (the gray icon)

Clicking the folder icon opens the Template Library. This allows you to insert pre-designed Blocks, full Pages, or your own saved templates directly onto the page. This is the fastest way to add professionally designed layouts or reuse content you've already created.

Adding Sections to an Existing Layout
While this placeholder is always visible on a blank page, you can also add new sections to a page that already has content. Simply hover your mouse above or below any existing section, and a blue line with a plus icon will appear. Clicking this icon will reveal the same 'Add New Section' placeholder, allowing you to add more content exactly where you want it.
